JISC TechDis Technology Database

The JISC TechDis Technology Database was developed to provide an online resource of information and products available to assist disabled students and staff in a variety of learning environments.

New assistive technologies and new versions of existing technologies are being created all the time and we unfortunately do not have enough resources available to keep the database regularly updated, so instead of offering an outdated database of products, we have decided to close the database for the moment.

Please see the EmpTech website for information resources on assistive technologies that are designed to help those with specific difficulties or disabilities work and study more effectively. Their database includes product descriptions, links to manufacturers, suppliers with addresses as well as other related resources including advice and training guides where available.
